Purely grounds the vibrations of audio equipment

Combination of CFRP and aluminum honeycomb

Description

The "pure grounding" effect created by the fusion of CFRP and aluminum honeycomb

The ER-BEEZ mini is Eau Rouge's unique insulator born from the philosophy of "purely grounding" the vibrations of audio equipment. Its structure combines lightweight, high-rigidity CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastic) with high-precision, aircraft-grade aluminum honeycomb, providing an overwhelming vibration control capability that conventional rubber or resin insulators cannot achieve.

Honeycomb structure to maximize the inherent performance of CFRP

CFRP is an excellent material, but its effectiveness can be limited under conditions such as soft or heavy installation surfaces or low rigidity. To solve this, the ER-BEEZ mini uses an aluminum honeycomb structure sandwiched between high-elasticity CFRP fibers, designed to bring out the material's full potential. While this structure is also used in aircraft, the fibers and honeycomb density used here are of a high-end specification that exceeds normal grades.

Highly effective across a wide range, from speakers to precision instruments

For speakers that produce large vibrations, it surprisingly increases a sense of openness, with deeper and more extended low frequencies. Meanwhile, for devices where fine vibrations affect sound—such as CD players, turntables, and tube amplifiers—the insulator demonstrates excellent performance by bringing out the equipment's true potential, regardless of the state of the installation surface.
Using the ER-BEEZ mini allows the character of the equipment to be expressed purely, resulting in clear, unclouded musical expression.

Review

Vibration damping effect through unique composite structure

"The S/N ratio improved dramatically, and the sound became clearer."

The original composite structure, which combines CFRP and aluminum honeycomb, effectively absorbs and eliminates unwanted vibrations and resonances from both the equipment itself and the surface it is placed on. As a result, the S/N ratio drastically improves, and I felt that muddiness and incidental sounds disappear, making the sound extremely clear.

"The low end is tight, and the separation of sounds is clear."

The vibration-damping effect particularly enhances the resolution and control of the low end. You can experience that the low frequencies remain tight without loosening, and the separation of sounds across the entire soundstage becomes clear.

Improvement in Musicality and Spatial Expression

"The background has become quieter, and the soundstage feels three-dimensional."

With a lowered noise floor and a deep, quiet backdrop, the localization of instruments and vocals becomes precise, and the soundstage is expressed with depth and three-dimensionality. I felt that spatial reproduction had improved.

"The timbre is neutral and not biased toward any specific frequency range."

While absorbing vibrations, it does not add any coloring or peculiarities to the sound. Its very neutral characteristics allow the insulator to faithfully bring out the original charm of the equipment or speakers.
