Markaudio's development team took on the challenge of developing an ideal speaker unit that combines the delicate depiction power of Pluvia7 and Alpair6 with the 40Hz bass reproduction that Alpair10 is proud of. CHR90 was born as the answer. We have added a new option to the Markaudio lineup as an authentic unit that combines excellent resolution and powerful low-frequency expression with excellent cost performance.
Lightweight drive system MMD: 4.5g – achieves agile response
CHR90 uses a Pluvia7 class voice coil, but is equipped with a lightweight engine weighing only 4.5g. This enables precise sound description and speedy response.
X-Max 7mm – Long stroke design for rich bass reproduction
Achieved X-Max of **7mm (one way)** approaching Alpair10. It enables dynamic and deep bass expression, and reproduces rich bass even in a small enclosure.
F0 44Hz, VAS 26L – Wide range frequency response
With proper enclosure design, wideband playback of **37Hz to 28kHz (±3dB)** is achieved. It expresses everything from delicate highs to deep bass in a well-balanced manner, making it compatible with a wide variety of music genres.
