The maximum power of the CAP-1001 is set to 6W. This is due to the calculation that if the distance to the speaker is within 1 to 3 meters in a limited near-field space, the output of the amplifier will be sufficient for 1 W to 3 W when using a typical speaker (efficiency of about 80 dB to 90 dB).

Non-Feedback MOS-FET

The amplifier consists of a non-feedback voltage amplifier circuit for current mode amplification and a complementary MOS-FET push-pull output stage that drives the speakers. Since general amplifiers use a powerful newly developed SATRI circuit with negative feedback / about 50 mA and no feedback / 150 ~ 200 mA, it can easily drive large speakers while actually saying near field. Since you can control the gain (volume), you can enjoy music by connecting a CD player or DAC directly without going through a preamp. In addition, since it is a variable resistor, the gain of the amplifier changes at the volume position, and the gain decreases as the volume is reduced, so you can enjoy high-quality sound without distractions even at low volumes. There are two input systems: the RCA terminal on the back and the phone jack on the front panel. The input on the front can be connected to a mobile player or smartphone, so you can connect to the CAP-1001 as soon as you get home and enjoy high-quality high-resolution music to your heart's content.

The CAP-1001 also has a headphone jack, so it can also be used as a headphone amplifier. Also, when listening to music with headphones, the volume coming out of the speakers is set to be reduced.

The power supply of the CAP series uses a DC power supply for both portability and noise suppression. The CAP-1001 requires 24V DC because it is a power amplifier, but if you use a 24V battery, you can use it outdoors. If it is on battery, it will perform best without being affected by noise.

I'm a touring performer who plays in a lot of places. Sometimes, we visit places where there is no live equipment such as PAs and speakers. I was very attracted to the word, so I connected my equipment on the spot and tried it. First of all, the first note I played, I thought there was no sound. This was the first time in my life that I had experienced it, and it was shocking. What's even more surprising is that the setting was just a power amp replacement from my previous equipment. In other words, the speaker was not a luxury product or anything, but a small speaker that could be bought second-hand for less than 10,000 yen. I was surprised at how much the sound changed. Until then, I had the image that changing speakers would have a greater change in sound than changing power amplifiers, but I was completely shattered. After all, it is very important to carry information from upstream without dropping it... You can feel the flex and creak of the strings of an acoustic guitar, the resonance of the body, and even the nuances of subtle touches, such as the strength and angle of the nails hitting the strings, coming out of the speakers. The sound that I thought only the player could feel came out of the speakers, and it was quite a revolutionary event for me.
