Uncompromising sound
Faithfully reproduce original sound sources
ASTRO ELECTRONICS, a vacuum tube amplifier manufacturer, will develop a new series that has been reborn from a line-up with a full-size weight, narrowing the width and reducing the size of the amplifier, without sacrificing sound quality, to a lightly handling easy amplifier.
The push-pull power amplifier AST-6SN7 can be selected from two types of chassis: stainless steel and aluminum. The original internal parts mounting brackets are produced and processed into a two-stage structure to reduce resonance and improve sound quality. The VR knob and the front panel of the 10mm thick 52S aluminum alloy are also made of anodized aluminum.
The output tube has a self-bias function, so you can easily replace it with a compatible ball. The AST-6SN7 uses 470 micro and large capacitors for the self-bias capacitors that are used by amplifiers of the same price range.Because it can afford current capacity, it performs comparable to fixed bias. The sound is expressed firmly even when the volume is narrowed. Since the volume adjustment of left and right independent is attached, even without preamplifier, you can easily enjoy high-quality vacuum tube music by connecting directly with CD player, smartphone, tablet etc.
The transformer adopts an original transformer that plays sound quality that is unbeatable to advanced grade while reducing the price. The legs are aluminum and rubber. High sound quality by using carefully selected materials for circuit parts and chassis mounting parts,The two-stage internal structure prevents resonance from the inside and outside, contributing to high sound quality with high transparency without miscellaneous taste.
