Astro Electronics' original circuit board is designed with thicker wiring than usual, contributing to rich information content and high sound quality. Additionally, by using an originally designed transformer that is not inferior to high-quality Hashimoto transformers, the price was kept low without sacrificing sound quality. No troublesome adjustment needed with "self-bias function"

Tube amplifiers require adjustment to stabilize the tubes at optimal operating points (bias points), but the AST-5881sSTK has a self-bias function that automatically performs the otherwise tedious bias adjustment. This allows you to easily enjoy the different sound qualities of compatible tubes just by swapping them. Additionally, the self-bias capacitor used has a large capacity of 470μF compared to the typical 100-200μF, enabling solid sound even at low volume.
