Non-standard wideband speaker unit
Smooth, silky, and dynamic sound
MAOP_11 is based on Markaudio's most recent unit design, the Pluvia 11, and is MAOP.
If you compare the Alpair10v2MAOP to the queen of the modern design full range, the MAOP_11 is truly the king of the full range. When I listen to and compare the same live recording, I get the impression that the former is a European hall and the MAOP_11 is a hall tone of a hall with a modern design.

The MAOP11 is now version 2 and the suspension is softer.
The low frequencies have become more dynamic, and the ability to express the fine frequencies of the mid and high frequencies has been improved.
Voice coil with Rectangular Pure Copper Wire
MAOP_11 uses a voice coil made of pure copper rectangle wire exclusively for this model. There are many advantages of this coil, such as the ability to reduce weight by tens of percent for the same magnetic force, linear resistance, and suppression of self-resonance.
In addition, a mixed chassis of fiberglass and ABS resin is adopted, and the resonant sound transmitted to the magnet is dumped by wrapping the magnet with a rubber cover.
Although the fluid design of the enclosure has been studied in various ways based on various theories and designs, the fluid behind the unit itself tends to be surprisingly neglected.

MAOP(Micro-Arc Oxidation Process Cone)
Strong electric field oxidation crystallization process
The matte glossy surface is a feature of the MAOP series, and this is the name of the surface treatment.
This process refers to the process of immersing an alloy cone in a solution in an alkaline electrolyzer with a very strong voltage (700V) for a long time (1~2 weeks) to oxidize the surface and produce crystals. By adopting this treatment, the surface of the cone changes to a crystalline body with countless flexible bubbles (many holes) as shown in the photo (this method changes the cone itself and is not a coating, so there is almost no mass increase)

You can see countless small crystalline bodies and air holes that look like the surface of a sponge. The piles of metal and air holes created after the process of several weeks make the reproduced sound natural.
It is an epoch-making invention that realizes a damping effect similar to that of a pulp diaphragm to a metal diaphragm by dumping with a cone that generates a microresonance pattern that passes through this surface, and it is said to be a quiet driver because it achieves extremely flat characteristics over a wide band.
