SUT-03 High Impedance Step-up Transformer

The biggest feature of the SUT-03 is that the two transformers are completely separated and enclosed in a solid case, whereas the step-up transformer for 2 stereo channels is usually manufactured in a single case. A solid case is made by carving out a block of aluminum alloy, and the transformer unit is enclosed in it and wired for the shortest distance. The case is impregnated with a high-strength, heat-curing, high-insulating, high-strength epoxy resin. The trans case has a beautiful and age-resistant champagne gold-colored anodized finish for a high-quality finish. As a result, the transformer unit is almost unaffected by vibration and is free from the effects of minute vibrations, making it possible to pick up even the smallest signals of the MC cartridge.
The SUT-03 retains the individuality of the cartridge and has a more indulgent and rich sound. The instrumental performances and female vocals are particularly impressive.

The transformer unit of SUT-03 uses a 100 micron thick super permalloy core and is wound using Teflon insulating paper. In addition, the transformer windings do not emit taps, and there is only one input and output, suppressing the deterioration of the SN ratio due to the play terminal. The SUT-03 has a solid case that is almost immune to vibration. On the back of this case, M2.6 screws are cut at the four corners, so you can use your favorite base by fastening it to this part. It can also be integrated into an amplifier and stopped using this threaded hole. In addition, the impedance of the cartridge compatible with SUT-03 is 5~40Ω, and its amplification factor is designed to be 10 times.

How to wire the SUT-03
The ground terminals must be wired separately on the left and right, so at least two ground wires are required. The ground wire coming from the player may or may not be connected to the ground terminal of the transformer case. Please choose the one that is better according to the system you are using.
