High quality ebony pinpoint base
High quality ebony pinpoint base
The PB-9 and PB-10 setting bases are setting bases for amplifiers and speakers that can be used alone or in combination with each other. The material is African ebony wood (official scientific name: African Black Wood), which is one of the hardest and strongest materials of all woods. This material is now a rare material, but it is actually used for musical instruments oboes and clarinets, and it has a reputation for its good sound.
The PB-9 has a pin shape and can be placed under an amplifier or speaker as it is to provide point support. In addition, the PB-10 has a concave shape and can be placed under the pins of speakers and amplifiers with spike pins to be used as a receiving base. In addition, if PB-9 and PB-10 are combined and used under an amplifier as a vertical structure, both the upper and lower surfaces will be flat, and it will be possible to support audio equipment with good stability and become a three- or four-point support.
Normally, metal is often used for these pinpoint bases, but metal spikes often produce a resonant sound peculiar to metal, and by combining hard wood such as PB-9 and PB-10, these resonant sounds can be prevented and a clear reproduced sound can be obtained that is pleasant to the ear.
