Clear, toned sound
High-quality ebony setting base
The PB-20 and PB-21 setting bases are for amplifiers and speakers that can be used alone or in combination with each other. The material is African ebony wood (official scientific name: African Black Wood), which is one of the hardest and strongest materials of all woods. This material is now a rare material, but it is actually used for musical instruments oboes and clarinets, and it has a reputation for its good sound.
A clear and tight sound can be obtained with moderate spike bites.
The PB-20 has a pin shape and can be placed under an amplifier or speaker as it is to serve as a point support. In addition, the PB-21 has a concave shape and can be placed under the pins of speakers and amplifiers with spike pins to be used as a receiving base. In addition, PB-20 and PB-21 can be used under an amplifier as a combination of each other as a vertical structure, and both the upper and lower surfaces will be flat, and it will be possible to support audio equipment with good stability and become a three- or four-point support.
Normally, metal is often used for these pinpoint bases, but metal spikes often produce a resonant sound peculiar to metal, and by combining hard wood such as PB-20 and PB-21, these resonant sounds can be prevented and a clear reproduced sound can be obtained that is pleasant to the ear. In particular, it is easy to get a resonant sound if the metal spike pin is received by a metal plate, but by combining it with PB-21, the metal spike can bite into it moderately, stabilize it, and prevent metallic resonance.
