Measuring instrument for easy measurement of ultra-high sound

Understand the listening environment

Description

Polaris-a is a measuring instrument that can separately measure sounds in the human audible band below 20 kHz and sounds in the band above 20 kHz, which are inaudible to the human ear. Two dedicated microphones, one for each band, allow the sound level of each band to be displayed on two built-in analog meters.

The instrument can measure not only from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, but also the ultra-high frequency range above 20 kHz. It is said that natural sounds contain random waves in the ultra-high frequency range that induce alpha waves, which are emitted when people are comfortable. This natural spectrum can be confirmed. Therefore, it is possible to check the level of the ultra-high frequency spectrum in music sources such as SACD, to adjust Fidelix's harmonizers AH-120K and SH-20K, and to check the operation of super tweeters. The system can be used to check the level of the ultra-high frequency spectrum in music sources such as It is also possible to check for sources of ultrasonic waves.

The sensitivity can be switched between 70, 80, and 90 dB, and the IHF-A curve can be selected to measure not only the sound field characteristics but also the noise level, and the ultrasonic side has a high-pass filter to prevent it from reacting to audible frequencies. An auto power-off function is provided to protect the battery from being turned off. An external power supply can also be used for longer measurements. There is also a line out for more advanced analysis, such as connecting to another high-precision meter or to a computer. For audiophiles, it can be used in a variety of ways, including as a convenient goods for measuring speaker characteristics and listening environment.

Included: CD with warble tones and sweep signals
