The 15-24V model is designed to be used in equipment for amplifying and converting music signals, such as amplifiers and DACs, so when used in devices that constantly consume a large amount of current, such as switching hubs, HDDs, and routers used for network audio, the output may stop due to the heat generated by the regulator.
In the design of the 5-12V specification, a dedicated tap for 12V and 5V on the secondary side of the transformer is provided to reduce the heat loss generated during voltage conversion in the regulator, and the allowable current value is further improved by connecting two regulators in parallel. The 5-12V specification can be used for amplifiers, DACs, network audio equipment, etc. In addition, it is now possible to use it for constant current equipment. It is used for 5V DACs to eliminate noise from the upstream of the signal, thereby ensuring the signal-to-noise ratio and sound purity of the entire system.

DC Cables Using NEGLEX OFC Conductors
