MITCHAKU's lightest headshell is born
Gain the same rigidity as an arm with integrated headshell
The new MITCHAKU-KKC is a headshell that is even lighter than the existing lightweight MITCHAKU-K. The inside of the headshell has been shaved to the limit, making it 2g lighter than the MITCHAKU-K. This weight reduction makes it possible to accommodate a wide range of cartridges. In addition, the lead wires have also been upgraded to high-grade specifications to improve sound quality.
The MITCHAKU headshell adopts a seesaw structure with horizontal pins placed between the upper and lower pins, allowing it to be evenly connected to the tonearm without gaps. This design provides the same high rigidity as an integrated headshell without the use of rubber rings. Precisely aligning the horizontal allows for improved separation and a wider sound field and clear sound quality.
Since it has a seesaw structure, errors are absorbed here. This ensures that the ring of the headshell and the ring of the arm are in perfect contact.
In addition to the standard model MITCHAKU, you can choose from three types: MITCHAKU-K, a type compatible with high-compliance cartridges that are lighter by cutting the inside of the shell body, and MITCHAKU-L, a lighter and longer model for those who are concerned about the head of the cartridge to be installed.
