DC coupling design for flat frequency response from DC to 1 MHz
The ACS-8101, a one-input, four-output distributor, is the first in a series of custom-made products. This product has the ability to distribute one signal into four circuits, with a total of eight non-referenced discrete buffer circuits (four circuits on each side). Since each circuit operates independently, there is no interference or leakage between circuits, resulting in pure signal transmission.
The buffer uses a DC coupling design that eliminates coupling capacitors and has a flat frequency response from DC to 1 MHz. The ACS-8101's buffer avoids the output reduction that occurs with typical buffer circuits, and its non-reduction design, which boasts over four orders of magnitude accuracy, minimizes DC offset to less than 1 The DC offset is kept below 1mV.
The power supply operates at 5V DC, 0.7A, so it can be used with a USB power supply or mobile battery. With a gain of nearly 1 and a wide frequency response, the ACS-8101 is ideal for accurate comparison listening and bi-amping, and was developed for smooth comparison listening of amplifiers, allowing faithful distribution of signals while eliminating the need to change cables.
