Industry's highest performance DAC chip
The AP80 Pro-X uses dual ESS9219C DAC chips with unprecedented dynamic range and ultra-low distortion. It supports +130dB SNR, +121dB DNR, -114dB THD+N, 32-bit 384kHz PCM, and up to 2.0Vrms output with analog gain control to reduce output noise at actual listening levels. All of this is done to ensure unbeatable sound quality.
MQA (Master Quality Approved)
The HiDizs AP80 Pro-X includes MQA technology, allowing playback of MQA audio files and streams to provide the sound of the original master recording.
MQA" or "MQA Studio" indicates that the product decodes and plays back MQA streams or files, and indicates the source to ensure that the sound is identical to the sound of the source material. MQA Studio" indicates that the product is playing an MQA Studio file that has been approved in the studio by the artist/producer or verified by the copyright owner.
MQA 8X MQA Audio Technology
MQA is an award-winning British technology that delivers the sound of the original master recording. Master MQA files are fully certified and small enough to stream or download.
Hidizs AP80 Pro-X portable music player uses MQA technology for the final (8X) expansion of MQA files.
Superior FPGA chip for superior audio performance
The AP80 Pro-X incorporates the HBC3000 FPGA chip, which provides native DSD64/128/256 support, master clock accuracy for digital music playback, and complete clock jitter control. Decoding - data processing - audio output, all details are handled flawlessly.
What makes the flagship AP80 Pro-X stand out from the rest?
- Small in size, but covering both unbalanced and balanced outputs, the AP80 Pro-X is a pocket-sized music player (DAP). It is about the size of a credit card, but it has both 3.5mm single-ended and 2.5mm balanced outputs in a compact body. With its portable size and unparalleled audio performance, you will never want to be without it again.
X-shaped design showing geometric aesthetics
An integrated aluminum body made with 5-axis CNC technology, the right side of the AP80 Pro-X is highlighted by an X-shaped design with an angular diamond surface and a hexagonal ice crystal-like shape with an embedded Japanese-made ALPS volume wheel. Together, these components provide a real visual delight no matter how you look at it.
Support for a variety of lossless transmission protocols
The AP80 Pro-X supports bidirectional Bluetooth 4.2, HiBy UAT, Sony LDAC, and CSR APT-X. It is a Bluetooth audio source and also serves as a professional Bluetooth DAC AMP.
* HiBy UAT is the industry-leading Bluetooth audio codec supporting 192kHz sample rate.
*Sony LDAC supports up to 96kHz.
Make it the most practical audio device in your daily life!
The Hidizs AP80 Pro-X becomes a digital audio player (DAP) when connected to a DAC AMP for clearer, cleaner audio output quality, but it can also serve as a powerful external DAC AMP that greatly enhances the original audio quality when connected to a cell phone or PC. Supported systems: MAC OS x 10.7, iPad OS, Windows XP, Windows 7/8/10 or later.

Hi-Res Audio & Hi-Res Audio Wireless Certified
Hi-Res Audio (HRA) is a standard for high quality audio products established by JAS and CEA and is now recognized and supported by audiophiles worldwide as well as premium devices.
Hi-Res Audio Wireless (HRAW) is a subset of Hi-Res Audio (HRA) for wireless audio products that support certified Bluetooth codecs. HRAW requires a certified device capable of handling digital resolutions above 24 bits/96 kHz.
