At ExAUDIO, we have newly started handling headphones and earphones from brands that continue to create unique products around the world.
The ones we have chosen this time are not simply products from well-known brands or those that catch attention with specs alone. Each has a design philosophy rooted in their country or workshop and provides a clear answer to the question, "How is sound generated and delivered to the ear?"
Germany, Japan, Vietnam. Through models born from different cultures and technical backgrounds, we hope you will experience how wide the current world of headphones and earphones has spread.
Two planar magnetic models from Berlin, Germany
From Berlin, Germany, we handle two brands: CAMERTON and ArcTec Berlin.
CAMERTON's Binom-ER is a flagship model built around their uniquely developed planar drive driver, integrating the diaphragm, magnetic circuit, casing, and headband under a single philosophy. Rather than emphasizing details excessively, it focuses on a natural connection from low to high frequencies, forming a coherent piece of music.

Rather than playing sound in a finely decomposed way, it allows necessary information to appear effortlessly while maintaining the overall flow and spatial continuity of the performance. Although it is a headphone, it aims for the sense of unity similar to listening to a high-quality full-range speaker at close range.
On the other hand, ArcTec Berlin's AB 92 emphasizes naturally releasing sound into space rather than confining it to the ears. By combining a completely open unique AirBorne structure with a planar magnetic driver, it suppresses the sense of confinement or the feeling that the sound image gathers inside the head, which is often experienced with general headphones.

The development was handled by Mr. Klaus Heinz, who has been involved with studio monitors and acoustic conversion technology for many years. The design seeks both the calmness to accurately capture recordings and the naturalness to enjoy music for long periods. This design, which pursues both aspects, will be an interesting option for those who wish to listen carefully to the resonance and the fading of sound, rather than flashy effects.
KuraDa, the embodiment of Japanese design capability
From Japan, we offer the KD-Q1 from KuraDa, based in Shizuoka.
The KD-Q1 is a model that adopts the familiar open-back dynamic headphone style while meticulously designing the internal space and airflow. Multiple chambers surrounding the baffle and acoustic filters suppress unwanted low-end bloating and refine mid-to-high frequency connectivity and positioning.

What is distinctive is that the latest 3D printing technology is used not just for appearance but to realize complex internal structures. Instead of manufacturing technology dictating the design, the optimal production method is chosen to shape the desired acoustic structure. This attitude reflects the straightforwardness typical of Japanese craftsmanship.
The KD-Q1, which naturally depicts the decay of piano notes, the texture of string instruments, and the presence of vocals without excessively sharpening the contours of sound, is a unit suited for those who prioritize balance that allows prolonged music listening over strong stimulation.
A new frontier of earphones opened by MEMS from Vietnam
In the earphones category, we newly offer products from Soranik, founded in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Soranik is currently focusing on MEMS speakers, which apply semiconductor manufacturing technology. Unlike traditional drivers centered on coils and magnets, MEMS draws out excellent responsiveness and detail reproduction by rapidly moving fine vibration structures formed on silicon substrates.
The MEMS-3 adopts a hybrid configuration that combines MEMS with two dynamic drivers, leveraging the strengths of each. The delicate and fast expression of MEMS is overlaid with the thickness and low-end richness of dynamic drivers, and further by the open-back structure, it pursues an unexpected sense of spaciousness for earphones.

In the higher-end model MEMS-3S 2025, two types of MEMS with different characteristics are layered and combined with a pair of dynamic drivers, evolving into an even more ambitious configuration. Soranik's products, which fit new conversion technology and complex acoustic design into a small housing, make you realize that the potential of earphones has not yet been fully realized.

A common feature in this lineup is that the purpose is not simply to use expensive materials or new technologies.
The movement of the drivers, the flow of air, the resonance of the housing, the distance to the ears, and the space created when worn. How should these be arranged to convey music more naturally and deeply? Each brand approaches this challenge in its own way.
Rational and cutting-edge design in Berlin, meticulous structural design in Japan, bold challenges with new technologies in Vietnam.
