This is HDA-5210MK4. The shape changed from the MK3, but the sound became even more sophisticated. Originally, overseas, its excellent performance spread by word of mouth and became popular, but it is doing even more.
From MK4, SATRI-IC is only UL specification for all models, attenuator has two kinds of metal film resistance and no induction wire resistance, headphone amplifier HDA-5210 has no normal volume specification.
As far as I can see, the transparency of the sound is very high, and Otaki Ichi, who extends to high areas as transparent, is impressive. The grain shape of the sound is very fine and light. The outline of the sound is also solid and there is no ambiguity because the background is very quiet. In the MK3 era, the background is too quiet and the noise that you do not normally care about is heard conversely, there is no MK4, just quiet. You can hear Mika Nakajima's breath and a slight breathing sound from the beginning of singing, which is heard through the pop guard of the microphone when recorded in the studio. There is no sound distortion or noise. If it is strong, there is no emphasis on the sound, and since it is conveyed straight, the bass may feel insufficient in the direction of preferring a heavy bass, but if it is normal, it should not be bothered at all.
This time, I listened to and compared the voltage output from the voltage input and the current output, but the sound was satisfactory enough even at the voltage output, but when changing to the current output, the outline, brightness, and sound elongation increased as clearly as a thin haze was taken. However, I think that this is not the place where the preference is divided. Some people may think that voltage output is exactly right.
By using a high-performance attenuator, even if the volume is lowered, the sound does not lose weight and the sound quality does not deteriorate.
Also, it can be said that the whole Bacoon sound, but since there is no strange piercing torge in the sound, it is a beautiful point that listening tiredness is not tired even if listening for a long time.
