Solid AuGrain Pipe Shield Digital Cable XLR is a two-core coaxial digital cable made with an ideal balance of AuGrain, an alloy of gold and silver, and AuGrain+Pt, the world's first advanced material triple-blended with high-purity platinum, gold and silver.
PTFE, which has the most excellent properties among Teflon, is used for the insulation material, which has a great impact on sound quality, and PTFE Teflon is also used for the outer jacket.
A coaxial pipe shield structure is used, and an augmented alloy is also used for the shield pipe. Compared to conventional braided wire shields or foil shields, this shield is surprisingly quieter and has a higher dynamic range. In order to prevent the extra shield from adversely affecting the sound quality, a special capacitor is connected between the cold terminals and both terminals.

Pipe-shielded conductors are difficult to handle and break easily when repeatedly bent, so they have rarely been used in practical applications. The balance plug is made of the same silver alloy as the wire material and is manufactured by Deltron in the UK.
