ASTRO AST-6SN7 Tube Stereo PP Power Amplifier

Astro Electronics Planning, a tube amplifier manufacturer, will develop a new series that has been reborn as a light and easy-to-handle amplifier without sacrificing sound quality by narrowing the width and reducing the size of the amplifier from the previous lineup of full-size amplifiers.

The AST-6SN7 push-pull power amplifier is available in two chassis types: stainless steel and aluminum. By producing and processing the original internal parts mounting brackets to create a two-stage structure, sound quality is improved while suppressing resonance. In addition, the VR knob and the 10mm thick 52S aluminum alloy front panel are also anodized, making it a captivating amp with glowing vacuum tubes.

The output tube has a self-bias function, so you can easily replace it with a compatible sphere. The self-biased capacitor used is a capacitor with a large capacity of 470 microns, compared to the capacitor used by general amplifiers in the same price range of around 100 microns.Since there is a margin of current carrying capacity, the performance is comparable to that of a fixed bias.This ensures that the sound is well represented even when the volume is turned down. Since it has independent volume control on the left and right, you can easily enjoy high-quality vacuum tube music by directly connecting to a CD player, smartphone, tablet, etc. without a preamplifier.

The transformer uses an original transformer that keeps the price down and the sound quality is as good as the upper grade. The legs are made of a combination of aluminum and rubber materials. We pursue high sound quality by using carefully selected materials for circuit components and chassis mounting parts.The two-stage internal structure prevents resonance from inside and outside, contributing to high sound quality with high transparency without distractions.
