AS-XP99EZ�U Tube Preamplifier

The EZ series uses Alps Electric Co. attenuator type 41 contact semi-custom VR for volume and RJ-232 input terminals with INLET(R) rhodium type AC. AMTRANCE metallized film capacitor AMCO type is used for coupling capacitor. For electrolytic block capacitors, semi-custom-made Nichicon capacitors are used to form a stable B power circuit. All parts are carefully selected for their reliability, and each unit is completely handmade. The insulator is machined from a 50mm oxygen-free copper round bar and mounted with young cowhide between the bottom plate and the insulator. This converts the sound of analog playback into a superior sound quality that is even better.
The new AS-XP99EZII has a higher grade transformer (PT-150) instead of PT-95, and its impedance and frequency response have also been improved.

The chassis is made without any screws, uses 2mm-thick oxygen-free metal fittings, and uses a 2mm-thick mirror-finish stainless steel plate of the XP type with a folded-in process. The sound quality is characterized by a nearly flat reproduction frequency range from 10Hz to 80kHz to ensure faithful reproduction of the original sound.
